GAALAD is the land of Myrrh, the actual Jordan. A mountain rich area that produces since the old times a special balm made from Myrrh, so called ”Balm of Gaalad”, considered a cure-all ointment. The creator, Delphine Thierry, got inspired by a morning horse-ride on Oriental mountains, when the smells of Myrrh shrubs mingle together with the resins of Cedar woods and Cypress. The leather of the saddle and the gloves get warm at the first rays of sunshine and invite the rider to an unbridled run. GAALAD is an elegant horse-rider, a cosmopolitan that travels around the the globe, but loves the shadow of the giant trees and the sound of the mountain brooks. A fragrance determined, protective and extremely fascinating.
